Indication

Emergency contraceptive for the prevention of pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or when a contraceptive method has failed. Should be taken as soon as possible within 72 hours after unprotected sex.

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg

Direction

Take one tablet (1.5 mg) orally as soon as possible, and within 72 hours, after unprotected sexual intercourse. Do not exceed the indicated dose.

Side effects

• Nausea
• lower abdominal pain.
• Fatigue
• headache
• dizziness.
• Breast tenderness.
• Menstrual irregularities (delayed or heavier period
• spotting).

Precautions

• Not intended for regular contraception
• does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.
• Contains lactose
• patients with galactose intolerance should not use.
• Efficacy decreases the later it is taken within the 72
• hour window.
• Consult a doctor if vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet
• or if menstruation is delayed by more than 5 days.
