Indication
Treatment of anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal, generalized anxiety, and muscle contractures.
Ingredients
- Diazepam 10 mg
Direction
Adult: 5 to 15 mg per day on average. In psychiatry 20 to 40 mg per day. For functional and somatic anxiety manifestations 5 to 20 mg per day. Children: 1/2 mg per kg of body weight; use in children should remain exceptional.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Muscle weakness
- Confusion
- Ataxia
Precautions
- Prescription only medicine
- Do not combine with alcohol or other CNS depressants
- Avoid driving or operating machinery
- Risk of dependence with prolonged use
