Movecam-7.5 7.5 mg

Indication

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other inflammatory joint conditions.

Ingredients

• Meloxicam

Direction

Adults: 7.5 mg once daily, taken orally with water, preferably at the same time each day. Maximum dose: 15 mg once daily. Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal irritation. Do not exceed recommended dose.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal: nausea
• dyspepsia
• abdominal pain
• diarrhea
• constipation.
• Central nervous system: headache
• dizziness.
• Skin: pruritus
• rash.
• Rarely: gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding
• elevated liver enzymes.
• Rarely: serious cardiovascular events (myocardial infarction
• stroke) with long
• term use.
• Fluid retention and edema.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam or other NSAIDs.
• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Contraindicated in severe hepatic or renal impairment.
• Contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
• NSAIDs may increase risk of serious cardiovascular events.
• Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs
• anticoagulants
• or corticosteroids.
• May mask signs of infection.
• Not recommended for use in children under 15 years for osteoarthritis/rheumatoid arthritis indications.
