Indication
Loose cough, increased and viscid bronchial mucus secretions and congestion of bronchial secretions during acute bronchitis and bronchopulmonary disease.
Ingredients
- Carbocisteine 100 mg / 5 mL
Direction
Child under 2 years old: 2.5 mL, 1 to 2 times per day. Child from 2 to 5 years old: 5 mL, twice per day. Child over 5 years old: 5 mL, 3 times per day. Treatment should not be pursued if cough persists or worsens.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal upset (nausea
- diarrhea)
- Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions
- Rarely
- Stevens
- Johnson syndrome has been reported with carbocisteine
Precautions
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store below 30°C
- Protect from light
- heat and humidity
- Discontinue and consult a doctor if cough persists or worsens
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs
