Indication
Chesty cough relief and mucolytic. Used for cough that produces mucus (phlegm) and for increased bronchial secretions during acute bronchitis and bronchopulmonary disease.
Ingredients
- Carbocisteine 100 mg / 5 mL
Direction
Children under 2 years old: 2.5 mL, 1 to 2 times per day. Children from 2 to 5 years old: 5 mL, 2 times per day. Children over 5 years old: 5 mL, 3 times per day.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal disorders: nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea
- epigastric discomfort
- Pruritus
- erythematous rash
- urticaria and angioedema
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to one of the constituents
- Patient with history of gastroduodenal ulcers
- chronic bronchial asthma
- respiratory failure
- Pregnancy and lactation
- Not recommended for alcohol drinks while treatment by this medicine
