Wormron 400 mg

Indication

Single dose anthelmintic therapy for multiple helminthiasis (hookworm, whipworm, tapeworm, roundworm, threadworm).

Ingredients

• Albendazole

Direction

Adults and children over 2 years (over 10 kg): 400 mg as a single oral dose for common intestinal helminths. Take with food. May repeat after 2–4 weeks if needed.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal: nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain.
• Headache
• dizziness.
• Elevated liver enzymes.
• Reversible alopecia with prolonged use.
• Rare: bone marrow suppression.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to albendazole or benzimidazoles.
• Contraindicated in pregnancy (teratogenic in animals)
• use effective contraception.
• Women of childbearing age should take a pregnancy test before use.
• Use with caution in hepatic impairment
• monitor liver function.
• Monitor blood counts with prolonged therapy.
• Keep out of reach of children.
