Indication
Adjuvant treatment of post-traumatic or post-operative oedema and inflammation; reduction of soft-tissue swelling.
Ingredients
- Alpha chymotrypsine 21 microkatals
Direction
Oral route or sublingual. Refer to package insert for detailed dosage.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal: nausea
- diarrhea
- mild abdominal discomfort.
- Rare: hypersensitivity reactions (urticaria
- rash).
- Rare: prolonged bleeding time.
Precautions
- Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to alpha
- chymotrypsin or related enzymes.
- Use with caution in patients with coagulation disorders or on anticoagulant therapy.
- Not recommended in patients with active peptic ulcer.
- Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Stop use if allergic reactions or unusual bleeding occurs.
- Keep out of reach of children.
