Indication
Topical gel used for the treatment of acne vulgaris, in particular inflammatory and comedonal acne. Clindamycin provides antibacterial action against Propionibacterium acnes while adapalene, a retinoid-like agent, reduces comedone formation and has anti-inflammatory activity.
Ingredients
- Adapalene BP 1 mg per gram
- Clindamycin Phosphate BP equivalent to Clindamycin 10 mg per gram
Direction
Apply as directed by the Physician / Dermatologist. For external use only. Replace the cap tightly closed after use.
Side effects
- May cause local skin dryness
- redness
- peeling
- burning or itching. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Rx. Use only under medical supervision.
- For external use only.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Avoid contact with eyes
- lips and mucous membranes.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure during treatment.
