Nasal Spray 0.05%

Indication

Temporarily relieves nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, upper respiratory allergies, and sinusitis. Reduces swelling of nasal passages, shrinks swollen membranes and temporarily restores freer breathing through the nose.

Ingredients

• Oxymetazoline HCl 0.05% (5 mg/10 mL)

Direction

Shake well before use. To spray, remove the clear plastic tip. Hold bottle with thumb at base and nozzle between first and second fingers. Spray 2 or 3 times in each nostril not more often than every 10 to 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 doses in any 24 hour period. For adults and children 6 and older. Children under 6 years: ask a doctor.

Side effects

• Temporary burning
• stinging
• sneezing or an increase in nasal discharge may occur.
• Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen.
• Use of this container by more than one person may spread infection.

Precautions

• Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease

• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate.
• If pregnant or breast
• feeding
