Indication
Management of hypertension; reduction of stroke risk in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy; treatment of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Ingredients
- Losartan Potassium 25 mg
Direction
Usual starting dose 25-50 mg once daily; titrate per physician guidance.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Hypotension
- Hyperkalaemia
- Cough
- Fatigue
Precautions
- Not for use in pregnancy
- Caution in bilateral renal artery stenosis
- severe hepatic impairment
- hypovolaemia
- Monitor serum potassium and renal function
- Consult doctor or pharmacist before use
