Panadol Extra 500 mg / 65 mg

Indication

For treatment of mild to moderate pain and relief of fever, including headache, migraine, sore throat, muscle ache, dysmenorrhoea, musculoskeletal pain, fever and pain after vaccination, pain after dental procedures/tooth extraction, toothache, earache/otalgia, pain of osteoarthritis, and respiratory tract infections including cold and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Caffeine 65 mg

Direction

Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as required. Minimum dosing interval 4 hours. Maximum daily dose 8 tablets (4000 mg paracetamol / 520 mg caffeine). Oral administration only. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Side effects

• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol
• caffeine or excipients
• Do not use if blister is broken
• Keep out of reach of children
