Beta-N Cream 0.1% / 0.5%

Indication

For the treatment of allergic dermatitis and other inflammatory skin disease when complicated by infection caused by organisms susceptible to neomycin including contact dermatitis, neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis (allergic eczema), non-specific anogenital pruritus and seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Ingredients

• Betamethasone 17
• valerate equivalent to Betamethasone BP 0.1% w/w
• Neomycin Sulphate BP 0.5% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area one to three times daily. When dilution is required, the diluted cream should not be used two weeks after issue.

Side effects

• itching
• or irritation
• Skin atrophy or thinning with prolonged use
• Allergic contact dermatitis

Precautions

• Contraindicated in tuberculous infection of skin
• fungus infection
• herpes simplex
• vaccinia
• varicella and extensive open wound
• For external use only
• do not use in or around the eyes
• Avoid prolonged use on large body surface areas
• Keep out of reach of children
