Flixonase Aqueous Nasal Spray 50 mcg/spray

Indication

Used for prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, including associated sinus pain and pressure.

Ingredients

• Fluticasone propionate 50 mcg per spray

Direction

Use intranasally only. For adults and children 12 years and older, the usual regimen is 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning, or as directed by a clinician.

Side effects

• Nosebleeds.
• Nasal irritation or dryness.
• Headache.

Precautions

• Treat nasal infections appropriately before or during use.
• Use caution with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir or ketoconazole.
• Seek medical advice if vision changes
• persistent nose irritation or frequent bleeding occur.
