Ventolin inhaler 100 mcg/inhalation

Indication

Used to relieve and prevent bronchospasm in asthma and other reversible airway disease, and to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol sulfate 100 mcg per inhalation

Direction

Inhale only. Adults and adolescents commonly use 1 to 2 puffs as needed, repeated every 4 to 6 hours as directed. For exercise, 2 puffs 15 minutes before activity may be used if advised by a clinician.

Side effects

• Tremor.
• Headache.
• Palpitations or fast heartbeat.

Precautions

• If you need the inhaler more often than usual
• seek medical review.
• Use caution with heart disease

• diabetes or low potassium.
• Use exactly as directed and keep track of the number of puffs.
