Fungard Plus 0.05% / 0.5% / 2%

Indication

Topical cream for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial or fungal infection, such as infected eczema, dermatitis, intertrigo, tinea and candidal skin infections. To be used as directed by a physician.

Ingredients

• Clobetasol Propionate BP 0.05% w/w
• Neomycin Sulfate BP 0.5% w/w
• Miconazole Nitrate BP 2.0% w/w

Direction

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area as directed by the physician, usually twice daily. Replace the cap tightly after use. For external use only; do not freeze.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging
• itching or redness at the application site.
• Skin atrophy
• striae
• telangiectasia or pigment changes with prolonged use.
• Allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive patients.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not apply to extensive areas
• broken skin or ulcerated lesions without medical supervision.
• Prolonged use of potent topical corticosteroid may cause skin thinning
• striae and systemic effects.
• Avoid use on the face
• axillae and groin and in children without a doctor's advice.
• Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergy occurs.
