Ventasthme 2 mg

Indication

Treatment of asthma (acute or chronic continuous dyspnea) and bronchospasm in obstructive bronchitis and pulmonary disease. Prevention of premature labor as relay therapy after emergency injectable treatment.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol 2 mg

Side effects

• Tremor (fine skeletal muscle tremor
• common).
• Palpitations and tachycardia.
• Headache.
• Muscle cramps.
• Hypokalaemia with high doses.
• Nervousness or restlessness.
• Paradoxical bronchospasm (rare).

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
• hypertension
• hyperthyroidism
• or diabetes mellitus.
• May cause paradoxical bronchospasm
• discontinue immediately if this occurs.
• Use with caution in patients with hypokalaemia
• monitor potassium levels in severe asthma.
• Avoid excessive use
• tolerance and decreased bronchodilator effect may occur with overuse.
• Use with caution during pregnancy
• especially in first trimester.
• May interact with beta
• blockers
• diuretics
• and other sympathomimetics.
• Keep out of reach of children.
