Flucort-N Cream 0.025% / 0.5%

Indication

Topical skin cream for inflammatory and allergic skin disorders responsive to corticosteroids, such as eczema, dermatitis, and other steroid-responsive dermatoses, especially when complicated by secondary bacterial infection susceptible to neomycin.

Ingredients

• Fluocinolone Acetonide BP 0.025%
• Neomycin Sulphate BP 0.5% (equivalent to Neomycin 0.35%)

Direction

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area two to three times a day, or as directed by a physician. For external application only, under medical supervision.

Side effects

• Burning
• itching
• dryness or folliculitis at the application site.
• Skin atrophy
• striae or pigment changes with prolonged use.
• Rare hypersensitivity reactions to neomycin.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not apply to large areas
• broken skin or ulcerated lesions for prolonged periods.
• Prolonged use may cause local skin atrophy
• striae
• telangiectasia and systemic corticosteroid effects.
• Avoid use on the face and in infants or children without a doctor's advice.
• Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergy occurs.
