Indication
Topical skin cream for inflammatory and allergic skin disorders responsive to corticosteroids, such as eczema, dermatitis, and other steroid-responsive dermatoses, especially when complicated by secondary bacterial infection susceptible to neomycin.
Ingredients
- Fluocinolone Acetonide BP 0.025%
- Neomycin Sulphate BP 0.5% (equivalent to Neomycin 0.35%)
Direction
Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area two to three times a day, or as directed by a physician. For external application only, under medical supervision.
Side effects
- Burning
- itching
- dryness or folliculitis at the application site.
- Skin atrophy
- striae or pigment changes with prolonged use.
- Rare hypersensitivity reactions to neomycin.
Precautions
- For external use only
- avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply to large areas
- broken skin or ulcerated lesions for prolonged periods.
- Prolonged use may cause local skin atrophy
- striae
- telangiectasia and systemic corticosteroid effects.
- Avoid use on the face and in infants or children without a doctor's advice.
- Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergy occurs.
