Moxiscot-DX 10ml

Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections of the eye and ear with associated inflammation when a corticosteroid is indicated.

Ingredients

• Moxifloxacin 0.5%
• Dexamethasone 0.1%

Direction

Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye or ear 3 times a day, or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging
• or discomfort on instillation.
• Transient blurred vision.
• Increased intraocular pressure with prolonged use.
• Risk of superinfection with prolonged use.
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Do not use if hypersensitive to moxifloxacin
• other fluoroquinolones
• or dexamethasone.
• Not for use with contact lenses during treatment.
• Prolonged corticosteroid use may cause elevated intraocular pressure
• glaucoma
• or posterior subcapsular cataracts.
• Do not use in active viral or fungal eye infections without appropriate cover.
• Discontinue if hypersensitivity or irritation develops.
• Keep out of reach of children.
