MediTears 15ml Artificial tear

Indication

Artificial tears for temporary relief of discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or exposure to wind or sun, and for dry-eye symptoms.

Ingredients

• Dextran 70
• Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose

Direction

Instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye as needed.

Side effects

• Mild transient stinging or burning on instillation.
• Transient blurred vision.
• Allergic reactions (rare).
• Eye discomfort or irritation (uncommon).

Precautions

• Do not use if hypersensitive to dextran
• hypromellose
• or any component.
• Avoid touching the tip of the container to the eye or any surface.
• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
• Discontinue use if irritation or worsening of symptoms occurs
• consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discard container after the recommended period as stated on labeling.
