Amlocor-5 5 mg

Indication

Amlocor-5 (amlodipine) is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, chronic stable angina, and vasospastic (Prinzmetal) angina. It lowers blood pressure and helps prevent angina episodes.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usually one tablet once daily. Do not exceed the indicated dose.

Side effects

• Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling)
• Headache
• Flushing
• Palpitations
• Dizziness
• Fatigue

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment
• Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis or heart failure
• Avoid abrupt discontinuation after long
• term use
