Indication
Amlocor-5 (amlodipine) is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, chronic stable angina, and vasospastic (Prinzmetal) angina. It lowers blood pressure and helps prevent angina episodes.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usually one tablet once daily. Do not exceed the indicated dose.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Palpitations
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment
- Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis or heart failure
- Avoid abrupt discontinuation after long
- term use
- Read the instructions carefully before using

- stop and seek advice if irritation or allergy occurs
