Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg
Levosulpiride 75 mg

Side effects

Rabeprazole component: headache
diarrhea
nausea
abdominal pain
flatulence.
Levosulpiride component: extrapyramidal symptoms (tremor
rigidity
akathisia)
hyperprolactinaemia
galactorrhoea
amenorrhoea.
Less common: drowsiness
dizziness
restlessness.
Rare: tardive dyskinesia with long
term use of levosulpiride.

Precautions

Not recommended in patients hypersensitive to rabeprazole
levosulpiride
or benzimidazoles.
Levosulpiride is a dopamine antagonist
caution in patients with Parkinson's disease or prolactin
dependent tumors.
Avoid in patients with gastrointestinal obstruction
hemorrhage
or perforation.
Caution in patients with cardiac arrhythmias or QT prolongation
levosulpiride may prolong QT interval.
Exclude gastric malignancy before starting treatment.
Long
term PPI use may lead to hypomagnesaemia and vitamin B12 deficiency.
Caution in renal and hepatic impairment.
May interact with drugs that prolong QT interval (e.g.
antipsychotics
antiarrhythmics).
Keep out of reach of children.
