Indication
Treatment of severe recalcitrant nodular acne that has not responded to conventional therapy, including systemic antibiotics.
Ingredients
- Isotretinoin USP 10 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water, preferably with food.
Side effects
- Dry skin
- lips and mucous membranes
- Nosebleeds
- Photosensitivity
- Elevated liver enzymes and serum lipids
- Headache
- Muscle or joint pain
Precautions
- Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
- Warning to female patients: this medicine may cause severe birth defects. Must not be taken if pregnant or may become pregnant during treatment.
- Do not donate blood during and 6 months after consuming this medicine.
- Store below 30°C in a cool and dry place. Protect from direct light
- heat and moisture.
- Use only under strict medical supervision.
