Indication

Treatment of haemorrhage or threatened haemorrhage associated with excessive fibrinolysis. Also used in the management of haemophiliacs undergoing dental extractions and in the prophylaxis of hereditary angioedema.

Ingredients

• Tranexamic Acid 250 mg

Direction

Usual adult dose: 4 to 6 capsules to be taken two to three times daily. Dosage should be adjusted according to patient's age and symptoms. Please refer to enclosed leaflet for more details.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Dizziness
• Hypotension (rare)

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with active intravascular clotting
• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• Keep medicine out of reach of children
