Indication
Herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and herpes labialis, including initial and recurrent genital herpes.
Ingredients
- Acyclovir 50mg per gram
Direction
Apply Mediclovir Cream 5 times daily at approximately 4 hourly intervals. Treatment should be continued for 5 days. If after 5 days healing is not completed, treatment should be continued for another 5 days.
Side effects
- Mild burning or stinging at the application site.
- Itching or dryness of the skin.
- Skin rash or flaking.
- Allergic contact dermatitis (rare).
- Systemic absorption is minimal with topical use.
Precautions
- Store in a light
- resistant tight container at below 30°C
- Keep out of reach of children
- Read insert paper carefully before use
