Indication
- Inflammatory and itchy corticosteroid-responsive skin disorders - Psoriasis and plaque psoriasis - Eczema and severe dermatitis - Lichen planus and discoid lupus skin lesions
Ingredients
- Clobetasol propionate 0.05%
Direction
Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily and rub in gently. Do not use for more than 2 consecutive weeks; do not exceed 50 g per week.
Side effects
- Burning
- stinging or itching at the application site
- Skin thinning
- stretch marks and visible blood vessels
- Dryness
- redness or irritation
- Suppression of adrenal function with extensive prolonged use
Precautions
- Super
- high potency steroid
- use only for short courses
- Avoid the face
- groin and underarms unless directed
- Do not use under occlusive dressings unless prescribed
- Avoid use on infected skin or large surface areas
