Indication
For the relief of cough characterized by excessive or sticky sputum or phlegm. Treatment of respiratory tract disorders such as acute or chronic bronchitis and COPD. Also used in treatment of otitis media with effusion and glue ear.
Ingredients
- Carbocisteine 500 mg
Direction
Adults and Children over 12 years: 1 capsule every 8 hours, or as recommended by a doctor.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal disturbances: nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- stomach upset.
- Skin rash or urticaria (rare).
- Headache.
- Rarely
- gastrointestinal bleeding with high doses.
Precautions
- Use with care in patients with history of stomach or intestinal ulcer
- Do not use after expiry date
- Keep product out of reach and sight of children
