Indication
Treatment of bronchial secretion disorders in bronchopulmonary diseases
Ingredients
- Terpine 100 mg
- Benzoate de sodium 50 mg
- Dextromethorphane 5 mg
Direction
Adults: 6 tablets per day in 3 doses. Children over 5 years: 1 to 3 tablets per day
Side effects
- Dextromethorphane: dizziness
- drowsiness
- nausea
- gastrointestinal upset.
- Sodium benzoate: well tolerated at medicinal doses.
- Terpine: mild gastrointestinal irritation.
- Risk of CNS depression or confusion at high doses.
Precautions
- Contraindicated in respiratory insufficiency
- asthmatic cough
- concurrent MAOI treatment
- children under 5 years
- Keep out of reach of children
