Indication

Treatment of bronchial secretion disorders in bronchopulmonary diseases

Ingredients

• Terpine 100 mg
• Benzoate de sodium 50 mg
• Dextromethorphane 5 mg

Direction

Adults: 6 tablets per day in 3 doses. Children over 5 years: 1 to 3 tablets per day

Side effects

• Dextromethorphane: dizziness
• drowsiness
• nausea
• gastrointestinal upset.
• Sodium benzoate: well tolerated at medicinal doses.
• Terpine: mild gastrointestinal irritation.
• Risk of CNS depression or confusion at high doses.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in respiratory insufficiency
• asthmatic cough
• concurrent MAOI treatment
• children under 5 years
• Keep out of reach of children
