Indication

- Relief of nasal congestion in the common cold - Nasal congestion due to allergic rhinitis - Nasal congestion due to sinusitis

Ingredients

• Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1%

Direction

For adults and children aged 7 and over, spray once into each nostril 1-3 times daily; do not exceed 6 times a day. Do not use continuously for more than 7 days.

Side effects

• Local burning
• stinging or dryness of the nose
• Sneezing
• Rebound nasal congestion with prolonged use
• Rarely
• headache
• palpitations or raised blood pressure

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 7 days to avoid rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa)
• Use with caution in hypertension
• heart disease
• hyperthyroidism or diabetes
• Avoid in patients taking MAO inhibitors
• For intranasal use only
• do not share the bottle
