Indication
- Treatment of dandruff - Treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp - Treatment of pityriasis versicolor (tinea versicolor)
Ingredients
- Selenium sulfide 2.5%
Direction
Wet hair, apply, massage into the scalp and leave for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use twice weekly for 2 weeks, then less often as needed.
Side effects
- Scalp irritation
- dryness or oiliness
- Temporary hair discolouration
- Hair loss with excessive use
- Rarely
- allergic skin reaction
Precautions
- For external use on the scalp only
- avoid contact with eyes
- Do not use on broken or inflamed skin
- Rinse hair thoroughly after use
- may discolour bleached
- tinted or grey hair
- Remove jewellery before use as it may be discoloured
