Indication

Ayurvedic herbal preparation for soothing throat and reducing cough.

Ingredients

• Trikatu (Piper nigrum fruit
• Piper longum fruit
• Zingiber officinale rhizome) 40 mg
• Acacia catechu wood 35 mg
• Terminalia chebula fruit rind 25 mg
• Syzygium aromaticum flower 20 mg
• Cinnamomum zeylanicum bark 2.5 mg
• Elettaria cardamomum fruit 2.5 mg

Direction

Allow to dissolve slowly in mouth as required.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: mild nausea or stomach upset.
• Syzygium aromaticum (clove) may cause mild oral irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
• Hypersensitivity reactions are uncommon.
