Indication
For before conception through all of pregnancy and breast-feeding. Contains 16 vitamins and minerals including folic acid.
Ingredients
- Folic Acid 400 µg
- Vitamin D 2.5 µg
- Vitamin C 70 mg
- Iron 20 mg
- Zinc 15 mg
Direction
One capsule per day with or immediately after your main meal, with water or a cold drink.
Side effects
- Nausea or mild gastrointestinal discomfort
- particularly on an empty stomach.
- Constipation due to iron content.
- Dark
- coloured stools (from iron — harmless).
- Rare: allergic reactions.
- High
- dose folic acid supplementation may mask vitamin B12 deficiency.
Precautions
- Store below 25°C in a dry place
- out of sight and reach of children
- Contains iron which if taken in excess by very young children may be harmful
- Do not take if allergic to soya
