Indication
Decreases sputum thickness. Treatment of cough with mucus. Chesty coughs.
Ingredients
- Bromhexine HCl 1.6 mg per mL
Direction
1β5 years: 1.25 mL 3 times a day. 6β12 years: 2.5 mL 3 times a day. Over 12 years and adults: 5β10 mL 3 times a day. Use only with syringe measurement provided.
Side effects
- Gastric irritation
- Nausea
- Allergic reactions
Precautions
- Not for injection
- Consult doctor before use if patient has bronchial asthma or gastric/duodenal ulcer
- Do not exceed 0.75 mg/kg/day without consulting doctor
- Keep out of reach of children
