Pediasolvent 1.6 mg/mL

Indication

Decreases sputum thickness. Treatment of cough with mucus. Chesty coughs.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine HCl 1.6 mg per mL

Direction

1–5 years: 1.25 mL 3 times a day. 6–12 years: 2.5 mL 3 times a day. Over 12 years and adults: 5–10 mL 3 times a day. Use only with syringe measurement provided.

Side effects

• Gastric irritation
• Nausea
• Allergic reactions

Precautions

• Not for injection
• Consult doctor before use if patient has bronchial asthma or gastric/duodenal ulcer
• Do not exceed 0.75 mg/kg/day without consulting doctor
• Keep out of reach of children
