Colaxin 125 mg / 5 ml

Indication

Dry syrup antibiotic for children. Treatment of infection of respiratory tract, skin, soft tissue, bone, joint due to susceptible organisms such as Streptococci, Staphylococci, E.coli, N.gonorrhoeae, P.mirabilis and Klebsiella spp.

Ingredients

• Cephalexin monohydrate equivalent to Cephalexin 125 mg per 5 ml

Direction

Children: usual recommended daily dosage is 25-50 mg per kg body weight in equal divided dose. Shake well before use.

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Allergic reactions in penicillin
• sensitive patients

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
• Avoid in patients with previous penicillin hypersensitivity
• Store not exceed 30°C
