AZI-BLISS 500 mg

Indication

Used to treat bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections (community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis), skin and soft tissue infections, and sexually transmitted infections such as uncomplicated genital chlamydia.

Ingredients

• Azithromycin 500 mg

Direction

Adults: 500 mg once daily for 3 days or as directed by physician. Swallow tablet whole. May be taken with or without food. Complete the prescribed course.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• or diarrhoea
• Headache or dizziness
• Skin rash or allergic reactions
• Abnormal liver function (rare)
• QT interval prolongation (rare)

Precautions

• Do not exceed the prescribed dose
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store in a dry place below 30°C
• protect from light
• Not recommended for patients with known hypersensitivity to azithromycin or macrolides
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment
