Aspirine Ephac 81 mg

Indication

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain including dental pain, muscle pain, and fever. Also used for prophylaxis and treatment of coronary artery disease and thromboembolic conditions such as angina pectoris.

Ingredients

• Acide acétylsalicylique (Aspirin) 81 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 4 to 6 tablets per day in 4 to 6 doses. For children under 12 years: 30 mg/kg/day in 4 to 6 doses. Swallow whole with a full glass of water, with meals.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal upset
• nausea
• vomiting
• Gastric bleeding with prolonged use
• Allergic reactions in sensitive individuals
• Tinnitus with high doses

Precautions

• Not for children under 12 years for fever or viral illness (risk of Reye's syndrome)
• Use with caution in patients with peptic ulcer or bleeding disorders
• Avoid during pregnancy especially third trimester
• Consult a doctor before use with anticoagulants
