SC-CEPHA 500 500 mg

Indication

Used to treat bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and otitis media caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Cephalexin 500 mg

Direction

Adults: 250–500 mg every 6 hours, or as directed by physician. Children: dose based on body weight. Swallow capsules whole. May be taken with or without food. Complete the full prescribed course.

• Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis (rare)
• Elevated liver enzymes (rare)
• Pseudomembranous colitis with prolonged use (rare)
