CELEXIN 250 250 mg

Indication

Used to treat bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and otitis media caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Cephalexin 250 mg

Direction

Adults: 250–500 mg every 6 hours, or as directed by physician. Children: dose based on body weight. May be taken with or without food. Complete the full prescribed course.

Side effects

• or abdominal discomfort
• Skin rash or urticaria
• Allergic reactions (cross
• sensitivity with penicillin possible)
• Elevated liver enzymes (rare)

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with known penicillin allergy
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store in a cool
• dry place protected from light
• Continue medicine for full time of treatment
