Indication

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and acid-related disorders

Ingredients

• Esomeprazole Sodium equivalent to Esomeprazole 40 mg

Direction

Dissolve contents of the vial in given Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection B.P. and use immediately. As directed by physician.

Side effects

• Headache
• dizziness.
• Nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal pain
• constipation
• and flatulence.
• Dry mouth.
• Skin rash or itching.
• Elevated liver enzymes.
• Rarely
• hypomagnesaemia with prolonged use.
• Injection
• site reactions (with IV formulation).

Precautions

• If foreign particle visible in vial after reconstitution
• do not use solution and return for free replacement
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children
• Use freshly prepared solution
