Indication
Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and acid-related disorders
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole Sodium equivalent to Esomeprazole 40 mg
Direction
Dissolve contents of the vial in given Sterile Sodium Chloride Injection B.P. and use immediately. As directed by physician.
Side effects
- Headache
- dizziness.
- Nausea
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- constipation
- and flatulence.
- Dry mouth.
- Skin rash or itching.
- Elevated liver enzymes.
- Rarely
- hypomagnesaemia with prolonged use.
- Injection
- site reactions (with IV formulation).
Precautions
- If foreign particle visible in vial after reconstitution
- do not use solution and return for free replacement
- Keep all medicines out of reach of children
- Use freshly prepared solution
