Indication
Bacterial infections including acute/chronic bronchopulmonary, urogenital (especially prostatic), otitis media, digestive (typhoid fever, sigmoiditis), Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia treatment and prevention
Ingredients
- Sulfamethoxazole 800 mg
- Trimethoprime 160 mg
Direction
Usual dose: 1 tablet twice daily. Severe cases: 3 tablets per day. Acute cystitis: 3 tablets single dose.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Skin rash
- Hypersensitivity reactions
Precautions
- Store below 30°C away from children
- Take with meals preferably
