AMOXMASTER 500 mg

Indication

Broad spectrum antibiotic used for treatment of respiratory tract infections (ENT infections, tonsillitis, sinusitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Amoxicillin 500 mg

Direction

Adults: 250–500 mg every 8 hours, or as directed by physician. May be taken with or without food. Store in a cool and dry place away from light. Keep out of reach of children. Complete the full prescribed course.

Side effects

• Skin rash or urticaria
• Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis in penicillin

• Candidiasis with prolonged use

Precautions

• Not for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to penicillins
