Indication
Yashcold is indicated for symptomatic relief of cold and influenza including fever, headache, nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol BP 500 mg
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride BP 5 mg
- Chlorphenamine Maleate BP 2 mg
- Caffeine Anhydrous BP 15 mg
Direction
Adults: Take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours. Take with a full glass of water. Do not take on an empty stomach if sensitive to aspirin-type medications.
Side effects
- Drowsiness or sedation (antihistamine effect)
- Dry mouth
- Nausea
- Palpitations (stimulant effect from caffeine and phenylephrine)
- Liver damage if paracetamol overdose occurs
Precautions
- Do not exceed recommended dose
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medication
- Not recommended for patients with hypertension

- Avoid if taking MAO inhibitors
- Caution in patients with liver or kidney disease
