Indication

Treatment of essential hypertension. Reduction of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with manifest atherothrombotic cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Ingredients

• Telmisartan 40 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usual dose: 40 mg once daily. Some patients may require a dose of 80 mg.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• Headache
• Fatigue
• Nausea
• Hyperkalemia
• Hypotension

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to telmisartan
• Do not use during pregnancy
• Monitor renal function and potassium levels
