Indication
- Relief of common cold and flu symptoms - Allergic and vasomotor rhinitis - Influenzal catarrh and sinusitis - Fever and aches associated with upper respiratory infections
Ingredients
- Paracetamol 100 mg + Phenylephrine HCl 2.5 mg + Chlorpheniramine maleate 0.33 mg per 5 mL
Direction
Take orally 3 to 4 times daily: children 2-6 years 5-10 mL, children 7-12 years 15 mL, adults 30 mL. Children under 2 years only on a doctor's advice.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dry mouth and dizziness
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Increased heart rate or palpitations
- Rarely
- allergic reactions or liver damage with overdose
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breast
- feeding
- Do not exceed the recommended paracetamol dose
- avoid other paracetamol
- containing products
- May cause drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery
- Use with caution in liver disease
- glaucoma
- hypertension or prostate enlargement
