Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
Usually one tablet (5 mg) once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day; dose may be increased to 10 mg as directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Ankle or leg swelling (oedema)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Dizziness
- Palpitations
Precautions
- Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment
- Use with caution in severe aortic stenosis or heart failure
- May cause low blood pressure
- rise slowly from sitting or lying
- Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
