Indication
- Hypertension - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
Usually 5 mg once daily, may be increased to a maximum of 10 mg once daily as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling)
- Headache and dizziness
- Flushing
- Palpitations
- Fatigue
Precautions
- Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment
- May cause symptomatic hypotension
- Caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis
- Use with caution in heart failure
