Indication
- Hypertension not adequately controlled by a single agent - Chronic stable angina - Angina in post-myocardial infarction patients
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5 mg + Atenolol 50 mg
Direction
Usually one tablet once daily, with or without food, as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema and flushing
- Bradycardia and cold extremities
- Fatigue and dizziness
- Headache
- Gastrointestinal disturbances
Precautions
- Avoid abrupt withdrawal of atenolol
- Caution in asthma
- COPD and bradycardia
- Caution in diabetes (may mask hypoglycaemia) and heart failure
- Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment
