Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Ingredients
- Amlodipine 5 mg
Direction
Usual adult dose is 5 mg once daily, increased to a maximum of 10 mg once daily as needed. Take with or without food at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Peripheral oedema (ankle swelling)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Dizziness
- Palpitations
Precautions
- Use with caution in severe hepatic impairment
- Use with caution in severe aortic stenosis
- Caution in heart failure
- Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding
