Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Gastrointestinal infections - Ear, nose and throat infections
Ingredients
- Ampicillin 500 mg
Direction
Usually 250-500 mg taken by mouth every 6 hours, on an empty stomach. Complete the full course as prescribed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Nausea and diarrhea
- Skin rash
- Vomiting
- Allergic reactions
Precautions
- Do not use if allergic to penicillins
- Caution in patients with kidney impairment
- May reduce efficacy of oral contraceptives
- Inform doctor of any history of allergy
