Indication
- Essential (high) blood pressure in adults - Kidney disease in adults with hypertension and type 2 diabetes
Ingredients
- Irbesartan 150 mg
Direction
Take 150 mg once daily by mouth, with or without food. The dose may be adjusted by a doctor.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Increased blood potassium
- Nausea or vomiting
- Fatigue
- Musculoskeletal pain
Precautions
- Not for use during pregnancy
- especially after the first trimester
- Use with caution in kidney disease or renal artery stenosis
- Monitor blood potassium and kidney function
- Caution with dehydration
- low blood volume or low blood pressure
